This is a fun animation - I confess I viewed this the first time while sitting around a campfire!

I have a story to share - this isn't my experience but someone elses. I heard a story from a woman who woke in the morning with strange bumps all over her face. She was a little horriefied at first but then discovered that she fell asleep on her Blackberry keyboard -- now that's what I call Mobi-Dicted!

Most people probably don't think of a portable audio recorder as your typical 'mobile device,' but they can produce just as devastating a case of mobi-diction as any BlackBerry or iPhone. I don't go anywhere anymore without my portable DAT recorder. I can't afford to lose any opportunity to capture the sounds of buskers, parades, street sounds, or what have you. What do I do with all that audio? Probably throw out 99% of it. But you just never know when you're going to stumble upon that weird, perfect, one-of-a-kind sample, so you've got to make that mobile device a part of you, like a third arm or an extra set of ears.

I really like the comment stated about the DAT recorder that makes perfect sense and the recordings can be transferred for other uses!
